Presenting Future Defense Solutions with Advanced RF and Optoelectronic Technologies

Sigetronics, a leading domestic company specializing in power semiconductors and optoelectronic devices (CEO: Kyu-Hwan Shim), successfully showcased its core technologies and strategic products at K-GDEX 2025 (Gyeryong Defense Exhibition), held in Gyeryong, Chungnam, from September 18 to 19, 2025.

Now in its third year, K-GDEX is a premier defense exhibition jointly hosted by Gyeryong City and defense-related institutions. This year, more than 70 major domestic and international defense companies participated, featuring the latest weapon systems, power support equipment, and electronic warfare technologies. The event drew significant attention from military officials, industry experts, and the general public alike.

At the exhibition, Sigetronics unveiled four cutting-edge devices: ▲SCBI, ▲Quad-APD, ▲MCT, and ▲GaN RF Power Transistor with X-Band Power Amplifier. These products demonstrated strong potential applications across various defense sectors, including igniters, missile seekers, AESA radars, and RF jammers, attracting keen interest from both domestic and international buyers as well as military R&D personnel.

In particular, the GaN-based RF power transistor and X-Band amplifier garnered attention as key components for AESA radar and RF electronic warfare systems, offering high output power, high efficiency, and durability. Meanwhile, the Quad-APD and MCT devices showcased their strong potential in next-generation seekers and precision sensors thanks to their fast response time and high stability.

During the exhibition, the Sigetronics booth welcomed numerous military R&D officials and industry experts, fostering active technical exchanges.
