Sigetronics Collaborates with AI Solution Provider Zieumsoft under the Jeonbuk Techno park Initiative

Semiconductor specialist Sigetronics Co., Ltd. (CEO Kyu-Hwan Shim) announced that it has joined the “AI Technology Activation Support Project” led by Jeonbuk Techno park, embarking on a full-scale initiative to drive manufacturing process innovation and advance AI technologies.

The project will run for seven months, from June 1 to December 31, 2025. Selected as an adopting company, Sigetronics will collaborate with AI solution provider Zieumsoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong-Hoon Nam) to implement an AI-driven process optimization system in its semiconductor manufacturing line. Through this initiative, the company expects tangible improvements in productivity, including ▲reduction of product defect rates ▲enhanced process automation ▲and advanced data-driven decision-making.

CEO Kyu-Hwan Shim stated, “Sigetronics is a high-tech manufacturer of ESD devices and GaN power semiconductors. Through this project, we aim to create a leading case of successfully applying AI technologies to actual manufacturing sites. Moving forward, we will actively pursue digital transformation and strengthen our position as a globally competitive semiconductor company.”

As the AI technology partner, Zieumsoft will provide customized AI models tailored to Sigetronics’ process characteristics, leveraging its extensive expertise in AI-based data analysis and optimization across diverse industries.

Jeonbuk Techno park, which oversees the project, aims to foster the spread of AI technologies in the region and enhance the technological competitiveness of SMEs. By supporting Sigetronics’ case, Jeonbuk Techno park plans to accelerate digital transformation among local manufacturers and establish a foundation for wider adoption of AI in industrial sites.
